Flames, I am utterly delighted to present you with some wonderfully captured moments from recent Berlin Fashion Week Spring/Summer 15. I have to credit my dear friend Berlin based photographer Uli Löser for this master piece of fashion photography – he has been so kind to provide me with the scoop of three major collections, the ones of coveted Austrian fashion designer Lena Hoschek, alongside French- Austrian designer Marina Hoermanseder and Thoas Lindner, who is also a sculptor and a poet.

Berlin stands for young, contemporary, self-conscious, open minded and liberal. I have been completely taken by the pulsating city on my last visit and I am impatient to share more of it and from recent work with Uli with all of you. But for now let’s let the image speak – be amazed at some delightful musings from Berlin Fashion WeeK S/S 15:

I hope you enjoyed this fashion infused visual inspiration from Berlin, just as much as I did. Oh, that gold teeth necklace worn by the girl in the fourth picture….perfect place to wear your grills, I would say

Flames, I’ll be very honest. I am sitting right in-between two stools. I’m in the place where life changing circumstances just changed my life completely, turned it upside down, made it impossible to decide where to go next… When my head is full of decision making and when thoughts linger heavy on my mind I know two things to perfectly distract me: one is traveling – and the other one is fashion, without a doubt.

I may be a little sparing with words lately. In that sense let me please share with you a few impressions from my recent travels to Cologne and the stuff that rocks my world of fashion at the moment for inspiration. Sneakers are absolutely on the top of my hot list for this spring/summer – there is no better foot gear to explore the metropolises of this world than sport shoes. As much as I love the ‘extra inches’ – there is no point in hurting your feet while your eyes want to dwell upon new and unknown sights. Leave the high heels for Fashion Week and the high profile events – that’s where they perfectly belong…

Style-wise I am lusting after urban chic as well as everything colorful with an ethno touch for the warm season. Current Adidas Originals collection is coming in handy since they combined all of the three. A short over a colorful leggings is always a good idea – especially when high temperatures haven’t already kicked in that much.

Up next it is going to Paris including a short stay at Euro Disney, so fingers crossed that I get a few good snap shots to share with you soon from there….

Love and light,

Flames, I may not have been the most active on my blog lately … Well, they say life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans While I have been utterly occupied my best companion to take on every day’s challenge have been my sneakers. As I mentioned in another post, I don’t run around in my heels everyday – for a good reason. As pretty as high heels may be – giving us those extra-inches that every woman of every height desires. Yet for being on the go in the metropolises of the world – sneakers are unbeatable. Especially since there are so many desirable styles available. R’n’B super star Alicia Keys has taken comfortable footwear to the next level by fusing with sports label Reebook. The outcome is beyond stylish and I am sure will have you craving for one or the other design. Alicia Keys is certainly a role model for young and strong women, which has got me wanting to get my hands on one of these even more badly. I think that 2014 will definitely be a sneakers year and I can’t wait to spot the most elaborate designs in street style pictures and throughout the Bloggersphere. If you are looking for inspiration, look no further I got you covered:

Which one was your favourite style, Flames? Let me know in the comment section below,
