Reggae singer Jah Cure

How I met star Raggae singer Jah Cure truly is an interesting story. I had been on travels to Germany to interview Reggae producer Silly Walks, since they have produced some of my all time favorite Reggae tunes. They had newcomer singer Clay in tow. Clay performed as supporting act for singer Jah Cure in Hamburg and Dortmund. After I finished my interview in Hamburg my travels should have taken me to Berlin, but I decided to travel to Dortmund to ask the singer for an interview. The thing is I was truly overwhelmed by Jah Cure’s performance in Hamburg. In Dortmund I could attain an interview slot for Vienna with the man behind the most sultry voice in Reggae music.

So my visit to his gig in my home town would make my third visit to his show during his ‘Life we live’ tour. In Austria we say the best things come in threes. But with his impressive show and talent this singer will certainly have me coming back for some ‘Cure again’.

Enjoy this interview where Reggae singer Jah Cure openly talks about how he could become a star during his time in prison, what his other creative outlets are and why music the cure for the world is. You heard it right Flames, this heartthrob had spent some time of his life imprisoned. But let me say that if I had expected to be doing an interview with a typical Jamaican ‘rude boy’ then I would have been disappointed…the World Singer is pretty charming and down to earth. And he has a very important message for us – please see for yourself in this interview:

Reggae singer Jah Cure is currently working on his new album, ‘the Cure’, which will be released in 2015 – more infos and tour dates 2015 on his website. His brand new and fresh single ‘Rasta’ can be pre-ordered on iTunes and will be released soon – on 9th of December.

Please stay tuned as I will bring you more positive vibrations from Germany soon. And in the meantime please let me have your thoughts on this interview…

Bravo! This was a very “comfortable” interview with really interesting questions. I can tell from the clips the Jah Cure concert was jamming and lots of fun. On a technical side, I love your lower third/font/texts (there are a hundred words for onscreen text – lol) and the flashes of the concert cut in. It’s fascinating to hear how he made music while in prison and I look to see more on his upcoming fashion line in 2015. Good job The Flamboyante!

Aw Kristy, am lost for words to describe how grateful I am for your comment – especially since you are such a pro in the video production section. Many thanks!
