FIRST THINGS FIRST : LONDON FASHION WEEK FALL 13 OUTFITS
Flames, I hope you all are well and healthy. Unfortunately a little winter cold forced me to take my time off from doing anything at all – and just when I recovered I found myself packing my suitcase again and heading to London to dive into the world of London Fashion Week for once more. I will say it was pretty exciting watching the shows at the London Fashion Scout , meeting all those interesting people and admittedly wearing clothes I don’t get to wear everyday – it fills me with joy. To me a fashion week is always offering a stage or on-street catwalk for fashion lovers, an opportunity to make a fashion statement.
I am impatiently awaiting spring and lusting after lace, florals, pastels, accessories which are adorable and little flashes of neon – a little bit like the colourful, rich and diverse choice of flowers on London’s Columbia Road Flower Market.
On day two of London Fashion week I was wearing Moschino Cheap and Chic lace dress and crystal encrusted suede pumps, Vintage Versace coat , bluebell Anya Hindmarch bag, and some pastel coloured jewellery.
On day three of London Fashion Week I was wearing a Alice and Olivia skirt, Winter Kate floral blouse (all over Oxygen Boutique), Stella McCartney Falabella bag, Vanessa Bruno Coat, Hallhuber hat – I would like to thank both photographers, who were so kind to take these pictures for me.
To me dressing up beautifully is not just utterly fun but the art of expressing and revealing oneself without the use of language. It is even more beautiful when other people in your environment start to notice or understand.
In that sense I would love to quote Stephen Maloney, whom I came across again on London Fashion Week, after I met him for the first time at London Collections Men and who was so kind to mention me on his brilliantly written blog the The Blitz Club (saying) Nadine said – ” I got dressed colourful and that’s what I like”. And she would say that, working for Flamboyante.”
I couldn’t have said it better is all I can add to that. So what do you think about my flamboyant wardrobe choices for London Fashion Week?
